The Celtor snapped his fingers, and immediately the bell on his hip glowed. "Damn Authority fools, encroaching on my island." I'll have to actually divert some of my forces to cut them off before they can get any further." The man massaged his temples, brushing aside a strand of green hair from his eyes as he clicked his tongue. "I didn't expect them to make so much headway so quickly. Grinding his teeth, the man turned and searched for something in a nearby drawer, pulling out a golden, aged and fragile parchment as he scanned the paper. Then, his eyes snapped to the empty tube in front of him, and the room finally echoed with a sound so different, so human compared to the ambience of the manor, to the constant thrum of power within the room. Within the main laboratory, a man stared at seemingly nothing, his lips curling in disdain as he seemed to take in some sort of unpleasant information. The halls echoed with the mighty footsteps of the golems that patrolled them, periodically pausing for just a few seconds before starting up again as the constructs diligently patrolled the lower levels of the manor.
